They pay the lowest fee, $55 for 2027, whatever their size.
Freight forwarders
They pay by the vehicles they operate, like carriers.
Carriers that never leave their state don’t register for UCR.
2027 UCR fees
You pay one fee per company, set by how many commercial vehicles you own or operate. That’s usually the power units on your USDOT record.
